Katherine Miller Johnston is an artist from St. Louis, Missouri. Through her print- and book arts-based work, Johnston references the handwritten letter to investigate slowness, distance, embodiment, and emotional intimacy. She received her BFA in Studio Art from Southeast Missouri State University (Cape Girardeau, MO) in 2014, and her MFA in Printmaking + Book Arts at the University of Georgia (Athens, GA) in 2018. She has participated in residency programs and exhibited work nationally and internationally. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and house plants.
